Researcher Qiu Feng holds a doctoral degree from Kochi University of Technology (Japan). Currently, he serves as a Researcher at the Hangzhou Institute for Advanced Study of the University of Chinese Academy of Sciences (UCAS) and a Distinguished Researcher at Peng Cheng National Laboratory. Previously, he held positions such as Distinguished Researcher at Westlake University and Distinguished Associate Professor at Kyushu University (Japan).
He has long been deeply engaged in research on integrated photonics in the fields of optical communication and photonic computing. He has published more than 50 papers in prestigious journals including Nature Communications, and has delivered invited reports at major international conferences such as OFC (Optical Fiber Communication Conference) on multiple occasions.
He once received the "Outstanding Optical Communication Materials R&D Award" from the Japan Society of New Materials Science and Engineering. Additionally, the electro-optical wafers and chips developed by his team have won a special honor from Huawei. His achievements provide effective approaches for breaking through the bottlenecks of communication technology and solving the challenges in chip manufacturing processes.
