He serves as a member of the Expert Lecture Group of the CPC Sichuan Provincial Committee for studying and implementing the spirits of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China and the 3rd Plenary Session of the 20th CPC Central Committee. He also holds positions including Council Member of the China Consumer Economics Society, Standing Council Member of the Ideological and Publicity Work Branch of the China Association of Higher Education, Vice President of the Sichuan University Network Culture Research Association, and Vice President of the Sichuan University Teachers' Ideological and Political Work Research Association.

His research focuses on fields such as political economy, industrial economy, regional economy, national and regional economy, new-quality productive forces, and ideological and political education. He has published more than 30 papers in core journals as well as journals indexed by SCI and EI, and presided over more than 10 major and key projects at the national and provincial-ministerial levels. A number of his policy advisory reports have received comments and affirmations from leading comrades of the Central Committee and been adopted by relevant central ministries and commissions.
