He currently serves as an Associate Professor of Finance and Doctoral Supervisor at the Adam Smith Business School, University of Glasgow, UK, and concurrently holds the position of Deputy Director of the university's Financial Research Centre. His research focuses on fintech and big data analytics, green finance and energy economics, corporate finance, and quantitative investment strategies. He has devoted years of in-depth research to cutting-edge topics, particularly the impact of ESG debt issuance on corporate information disclosure and the modeling of implied volatility in credit default swaps (CDS).

In terms of academic part-time roles, he works as an Academic Advisor for Moody's Analytics and also serves as a Senior Research Fellow at the National Strategy Research Institute for Innovation and Development. In the field of international academic and professional services, he has long been active across multiple platforms: he not only holds the positions of Standing Director of the Chinese Economists Society (CES) UK & Europe and Chairman of the CES Scotland Chapter, as well as Asian Director of the International Association of Financial and Banking (IAFB), but also provides training and policy consulting support for institutions such as the Asian Development Bank Institute (ADBI) and CFA Institute.
