On July 16, 2025, the AI High-Performance Photonic Chip Research Center was officially unveiled and established at the School of Physics and Optoelectronic Engineering, Hangzhou Institute for Advanced Study, University of Chinese Academy of Sciences (UCAS). This marks a new stage in the development of China's photonics technology field. Cheng Haidong, Chairman and Executive President of China Science and Technology Development Press, was invited to attend the ceremony.
