II. Purpose of Recruiting Young Editorial Board Members

To promote the innovative development of AAIR Journal, build a bridge for young scholars to communicate with the international academic community, further enhance the journal's international influence and academic dissemination scope, and reserve reserve forces for the journal's editorial board, AAIR is now publicly recruiting young editorial board members worldwide. Outstanding young scholars are sincerely invited to join and work together to contribute to the academic development in the field of artificial intelligence.

III. Recruitment Requirements

1. Educational Background and Age Requirements: Applicants must have obtained a doctoral degree and be under 45 years old. For those with a doctoral degree or an associate senior title or above and outstanding scientific research achievements, the educational background requirement can be relaxed to a master's degree.

2. Research Background Requirements: Applicants must have a research background in artificial intelligence and related fields, including but not limited to computer science, mathematics, bioinformatics, and social sciences.

3. Academic Achievement Requirements: Applicants must have published at least 3 academic papers as the first author or corresponding author in authoritative SCI journals.

4. Relevance of Research Directions: The research direction must be consistent with the core sections of the journal, such as machine learning and deep learning, natural language processing, computer vision, intelligent robots and autonomous systems, trustworthy and responsible artificial intelligence, as well as the integrated application of artificial intelligence in vertical fields like healthcare, Industry 4.0, and smart cities.

5. International Communication Ability: Applicants must be proficient in participating in international academic exchange activities and have rigorous English writing skills and English manuscript review capabilities.

6. Preferred Conditions: Those with international journal review experience will be given priority in the selection process.

IV. Responsibilities of Young Editorial Board Members

1. Manuscript-related Work: Actively participate in manuscript recommendation, manuscript organization, manuscript submission, and special topic planning of the journal. During the term of office, applicants must submit no less than 1 manuscript to this journal as the first author or corresponding author.

2. Participation in Meetings and Activities: Attend the journal's editorial board meetings and the organization of various academic activities on time, and put forward constructive suggestions for the development of the journal based on their own research experience and industry observations.

3. Journal Promotion: Proactively promote the journal and the excellent articles published in it, increase the exposure of the articles through academic exchanges, social media sharing, and other methods, and attract more scholars to submit high-quality manuscripts to the journal.

4. Resource Recommendation: Recommend outstanding reviewers in their research fields and manuscripts with high-level research value, providing support for the journal in selecting high-quality academic resources.

V. Rights and Interests of Young Editorial Board Members

1. Honor and Display: Receive an official letter of appointment from the journal. Personal academic resumes will be displayed on the official website of the journal to enhance personal academic reputation.

2. Promotion Opportunities: Those who make outstanding contributions to the journal during the term of office will have priority in being promoted to formal editorial board members of the journal.

3. Academic Exchange: Conduct in-depth exchanges and cooperation with other editorial board members, guest editors, and manuscript authors through online or offline editorial meetings and academic seminars, expanding academic networks.

4. Manuscript Preferences: Manuscripts submitted or recommended by themselves can enjoy preferential treatment of partial page fee reduction or exemption.

5. Review Convenience: Manuscripts submitted or recommended by themselves will be included in the journal's fast-track processing channel, shortening the review cycle.

VI. Application Methods and Selection Process

(I) Application Methods

1. Material Preparation: Prepare a personal academic resume, which should include but not be limited to key information such as name, affiliated institution (college/university), academic experience, published academic papers (especially SCI papers), and research direction.

2. Submission Method: Send the prepared personal academic resume to the official email address of the journal: editorialoffice@innoviair.cn.

3. Email Requirements: The subject of the email must strictly follow the format of "AAIR Young Editorial Board Application - Name - Research Direction" to avoid material omission due to irregular subjects.

4. Application Deadline: December 31, 2025. Application materials submitted after the deadline will not be accepted.

(II) Selection Process

The recruitment and employment of young editorial board members implement a "two-way selection system", which is specifically divided into two processes. Applicants can choose the corresponding method to participate according to their own situation:

1. Recommendation System: Recommendation by editorial board members → Applicants submit materials → Material review by the editorial department → Sending of admission notice → Issuance of appointment letter.

2. Application System: Independent application by individuals → Preliminary screening of materials by the editorial department → Material review by the editorial board → Sending of admission notice → Issuance of appointment letter.

(III) Remarks

1. After the preliminary review of the application materials by the editorial department, they will be uniformly submitted to the editorial board, and the editorial board members will select the best candidates.

2. The journal will announce the results at an appropriate time after the completion of the selection work. The editorial department will send the AAIR Young Editorial Board admission notice and employment offer to the selected candidates via email.

3. For young editorial board members who have received the appointment letter but fail to perform their duties actively during the term of office, the editorial department will first send a reminder email. If they still fail to perform their duties after the reminder, a removal notice will be sent to terminate their qualification as young editorial board members.
